James Conrad Childers

James Conrad Childers, 46 Boardman- James Conrad Childers, 46 of 2075 Wolosyn Circle died Tuesday evening in the Beeghley Emergency Center where he was taken after being stricken at home. Mr. Childers was born August 22, 1958 in Youngstown a son of Conrad J. and Geraldine L. Cantor Childers. As a child he had lived with his family in Tucson, Arizona and Fresno, California. He graduated from Poland Seminary High School in 1976 and attended Youngstown State University. He was a supervisor with Shane Security. Mr. Childers was a member of Wick Lodge # 481 F & AM, a 32nd degree Mason of the Scottish Rite, Al Koran Shrine, the Youngstown Shrine Club, the Crime Clinic of Greater Youngstown and a former member of the Cambium Club of Youngtown. He leaves his father Conrad and stepmother Joann Garrett-Childers; a brother John (Kate) Childers and nephews Michael J. and John D. Childers, all of Poland. His mother preceded him in death. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Friday at the Lake Park Cemetery Chapel. The family requests memorial tributes in the form of contributions to the Shrine Hospitals at 1645 West 8th Street Erie, PA 16505 or at 202 Goodman Street Cincinnati, OH 45215.
