Poland - James F. Bodendorfer, 70, died Thursday, June 6, 2013 at his home.
James was born May 5, 1943 in Canton, Ohio, a son of Frederick and Francis Stoner Bodendorfer.
Raised in Canton, James was a graduate of Timken High School. He furthered his education at the University of Akron where he received his bachelor's in Accounting. James became a financial accountant for Good Year Tire and Rubber Company, retiring in 2005.
His wife, the former Eileen Jursik, died January of 2003. James leaves two sons, Jeff (Kristin) Bodendorfer of Poland and Chris (Shannon) Bodendorfer of Berlin Center; five grandchildren, Amelia, Adam, Lauren, Emma and Aubrey Bodendorfer, all of Poland; and one great-grandchild Aiden Bodendorfer.
Besides his parents and wife, James was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Bodendorfer.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 17th, at 11:00 A.M. at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
