James F. Allen 73 STRUTHERS âa�" Services will be 4pm Saturday at Davidson Becker Funeral Home for James F. Allen, 73, of Struthers who passed Thursday morning at his residence. Mr. Allen was born Oct. 2, 1932 in Struthers, a son of John and Alice Hartshorn Allen and was a lifelong area resident. He worked for L.T.V. Steel as an electrician for 34 years and retired in 1984, was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a graduate of Struthers High School. Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, the former Fujiko Hoshino whom he married Dec. 22, 1955; two daughters Debra (Michael) Smith of Garrettsville and Wendy (Ken) Scholz of Bend, Oregon; three sons, Robert (Cristina) Allen of Akron, Donald Allen of Columbus and James Allen of Boardman; three sisters, Joan Allen, Betty Lawrence and Kathy Matteo all of Struthers; two brothers, Bill Allen of East Palestine and John Allen of Poland; and eight grandchildren and a great-grandson.
