Isabelle Arrel Wymer, 85 POLAND  Isabelle Arrel Wymer, 85, of Audubon Lane, died Saturday at her residence. Mrs. Wymer was born April 25, 1920 in Poland, a daughter of Thad and Mayre Talbott Ridgley Arrel. She lived all over the United States and Mexico before returning to Poland in 1971. She was a 1938 graduate of Poland Seminary High School and received her BS from Flora Stone Mather College. Mrs. Wymer was a member of the Poland Presbyterian Church, DAR, Poland Village Club, and the Youngstown Junior League. A descendant of pioneer settlers of Poland Township, Mrs. Wymer¹s family were founding members of the Poland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Wymer loved bridge and gardening and was a world traveler. She especially enjoyed the company of her friends and family. Her husband, Robert, whom she married Aug. 28, 1942, died Dec. 28, 1996. She leaves a daughter, Elizabeth (Eric) McAfee of Syracuse, New York; a daughter-in-law, Deborah Wymer of Austin, Texas; a sister, Katherine (John) Smith of LaPorte, Ind.; two grandchildren, Sarah Jeanne Wymer and Meghan Arrel Wymer, both of Austin; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Mrs. Mymer was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, David and Thad Wymer; two sisters, Elizabeth Thompson and Margaret Doane; and a brother, David Arrel. Memorial services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Poland Presbyterian Church, where friends may call from 10 to 10:45 a.m. In leiu of flowers, memorial contributions may go to the American Cancer Society.
