Lowellville - Irma P. Bizub, 84, of Lowellville, died early Thursday morning, February 26, 2015 at her residence.
Irma was born May 21, 1930 in Youngstown, a daughter of Frank and Grace Reilly Stanfield.
Irma was a graduate of Ursuline High School, Class of 1948. She worked as a Nurses' Aide for St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown until her marriage. Irma's greatest joy was staying at home, taking care of her husband, four sons, and their home. Over the years, she and her family enjoyed traveling the United in their 1972 Chrysler Newport Royal.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist where she was active ministering the food pantry, cleaning the church, and taking care of the yard.
Irma leaves her husband of almost 62 years, Frank Bizub, whom she married June 27, 1953; three sons, twins, John (Kathy) Bizub of Seffner, FL, and Larry (Debra) Bizub of Moline, IL, and Brian (Barbara) Bizub of Campbell; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Irma was preceded in death by her son, Paul Bizub; two brothers, Ted and Bill Stanfield; and one sister, Emily Stanfield.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 7:00 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers with Elder Mark Sitch officiating. Private Interment will follow Wednesday at the Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the funeral home.
