Struthers - Irene J. Toth, 76, died early Monday morning, February 27, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. Toth was born March 26, 1935 in Pennsylvania, a daughter of Frank and Marie Simkin.
She was a 1953 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and worked for 32 years at Assumption Village Nursing Home in North Lima.
She enjoyed playing slots in Atlantic City and Mountaineer with her best friend, JoAnn, watching crime stories on television, and spending time with family and friends.
Irene was a caring and loving woman, always worried about taking care of others before herself. Her kind and gentle ways will be forever missed by family and friends.
Her husband, Joseph Toth, whom she married August 27, 1955, died September 7, 2010. She is survived by her two sons, Lenny Toth and Kenny Toth, both of Struthers; two granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
There will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
