Irene was born Dec. 17, 1931, in Youngstown, a daughter of Andrew and Julia (Lukac) Pauko.
Irene will be sadly missed by her dear family and all of her friends who knew and loved her as family.
She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High school in 1949. Upon graduation, she secured a position with the Sheet and Tube Company in Youngstown. It was while working at Sheet and Tube that she met her future husband, Mike, through his mother, Rose, who also worked with Irene. Irene and Mike were married on June 25, 1955, and happily enjoyed 52 years of a loving marriage together before his passing in September 2007.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her three children, Mark (Susie) Rovnak of Franklin, Mass., and Linda (Gregory) Roush and Lori Rovnak, all of Boardman; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Jr., a pilot who was killed in World War II.
