Irene E. Anderson

POLAND-Irene E. Anderson, 86, died Sunday evening, May 7, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Mrs. Anderson was born May 28, 1930 in Bristol, Connecticut, a daughter of Frank and Elsie (Booth) Aylett.
A graduate of Bristol High School in 1948, she worked for Aetna Life Insurance Company in Hartford, Connecticut and then for the department of the Navy-Naval Research Lab in Washington D.C.
Irene was an accomplished seamstress her entire life and enjoyed her work for her family.
She was a member of Christ Church Presbyterian, a life member of the V.F.W. in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida, and AARP.
Irene leaves her husband, Lewis L. Anderson, whom she married November 27, 1954; daughter, Gay Lynn of Kansas City, Missouri; son, Mark Glen of San Diego, California; a sister, Kathleen Damuck of Wallingford, Connecticut; two brothers, Richard Aylett of Azle, TX and Edward Aylett of Bristol, Connecticut.
In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her son, Dale William; sister, Gloria Catucci; and a brother, Kenneth Aylett.
There will be no calling hours or services. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
