Howard F. Spatholt

Howard F. Spatholt, 82 Struthers- Howard F. Saptholt,82, died Monday evening at his residence. Mr. Spatholt was born October 19, 1922 in Youngstown, a son of Howard F. Spatholt Sr. and Elizabeth A. Krause Slife. He moved to Struthers in 1956. He was a 1941 graduate of Boardman High School and was an electrician with Local 64 for 55 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Saint Nicholas Roman Catholic Church. He was a Corporal in the United States Army during WW II having served in Europe. Mr. Spatholt was an avid golfer; and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren His wife, the former Dolores A. Anetsko, whom he married May 21, 1947, died June 11, 2004. He leaves three daughters, Nancy (Joe) Chetsko of Kinsman, Jill (Armand) DeGenova of Struthers, and Karen (Tom) Tiller of Canfield; a brother Jack Spatholt of Columbiana; two half brothers, Robert Spatholt and Charles Spatholt both of Cleveland; a half sister, Sally Guildford of Cincinnati, OH; 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday 10 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers and 10:30AM at Saint Nicholas Roman Catholic Church. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 at the funeral home.
