Pulaski-Hilda Jane Storti, 87, of Pulaski, Pa, died Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Salmon's Home Care in Negley, Ohio. Mrs. Storti was born Sunday, June 12, 1921 in New Castle, Pa., a daughter of James and Pauline Studer Freshcorn. Mrs. Storti was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lowellville Christian Church, where she was belonged to the missionary society of the church and was a Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Storti served on the Mahoning Township School Board for four years and started the Hillsville school cafeteria. Her husband, Patsy M. Storti, whom she married March 31, 1939, died March 15, 1998. She leaves two daughters, Shirley (Jack) Burnett of Poland and Helen (John) VanTassel of Pulaski, Pa; and three grandchildren, Krista, Kevin, and Kory. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, David James Storti; two sisters, Frainie Hilton and Mable Miller; and one brother, Mike Freshcorn. There will be no calling hours or services. Interment will be at the Mahoning Presbyterian Cemetery in Mahoning Twp., Pa. The family requests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, Northeast Region, 525 North Broad Street, Canfield, Ohio 44406 or to the American Heart Association, 840 Southwestern Run, Youngstown, Ohio 44514.
