Herman Lindsay Moore, 77 Lowellville- Herman Lindsay Moore, 77, of 4930 New Castle Road, died Tuesday evening at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Mr. Moore better known as Lindsay was born January 30, 1928 in Youngstown, a son of Herman C. and Jean Lindsay Moore. He was a life-long resident of Lowellville. Lindsay was a 1946 graduate of Lowellville High School and attended Ohio State University. He was a self-employed farmer, specializing in dairy and general grain and was a school bus driver for the Lowellville School District. At one time he was a Mason. He was a United States Army Veteran serving from November 1954 until August 1956 in Germany. His first wife the former Sarah âa�A"Sallyâa�A� Reed and his second wife the former Ruth Gross are deceased. He is survived by two step-daughters, Joy Gross and Amanda Gross both of Philadelphia; one step-son, James Gross of Cleveland; three cousins, Sara Jean Johnson of Boardman, Elizabeth of France and Jay Moore of Lowellville. Funeral services will be Friday, 2:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Friends may call Friday from 12:45 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home.
