North Lima- Helena B. Pagan, 85, passed away peacefully March 21, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Health Center surrounded by her son and granddaughter.

She was welcomed home by her family that preceded her.

Mrs. Pagan was born August 29, 1930 in Norristown, PA, a daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth Brannan Romano.

She worked at Youngstown Sheet and Tube Coke Plant. She was an avid Betty Boop collector. In her younger days she enjoyed traveling with Clarence. Helena loved spending time with her great-grandkids and looked forward to music with her close friends Tommy and Mary Ann. She brought a smile and laugh to everyone she saw every day. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by one son, Mark (Angela) Pagan of Tennessee; eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Helena was preceded in death by one daughter, Catherine Brenner, one son, William Pagan; and one brother, Thomas Scheel; and her partner, Clarence Russell who died May 16, 2015.

Services will be held at Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St., Boardman, Thursday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown.

Friends and family will be received Thursday from10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend gratitude to the staff at Ivy Woods Manor and would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Youngstown for their care and compassion especially the nurses in NSICU.
