Lowellville - Helen Delores Wildes, 84, died early Tuesday morning, September 3, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

Mrs. Wildes was born January 30, 1929 in Hillsville, PA, a daughter of Felix and Nettie Braun DiLullo.

Helen was a 1947 graduate of Lowellville High School. She worked at the former Smith's Grocery Store in Lowellville as a clerk and later as a custodian for Western Reserve Bank. Helen was also a dedicated homemaker, devoting her time to raising her five children.

Helen was a member of the Lowellville United Methodist Church and served as the church's past treasurer.

In her spare time, she enjoyed being outdoors and flower gardening. More than anything, she loved spending time with family and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She leaves her husband, Jerry Wildes, whom she married August 4, 1951; five children, June Lewis, Jerry (Kelly) Wildes, Joyce (Glenn) Wilson, Jeffery (Lori) Wildes, all of Lowellville, and Janice (Ron) Yoakam of North Lima; sister, Irene Ginnetti of Struthers; ten grandchildren, David (Kim) Lewis of Spring, TX, Gina Pupino of Canfield, Casey (Adam) Englebaugh of Poland, Toni Lynn Lanterman of Struthers, Kim (Brad) Doyle of Sandy Lake, PA, Jason (Katie) Wilson of Youngstown, Jessica Wildes of Lowellville, Leslie Wildes of Struthers, Corey Yoakam of North Lima, and Shane (Julie) Yoakam of Portland, OR; 18 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Reba Conaway of Massillon; and brother-in-law, Thomas Ziccardi Sr. of New Middletown.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by two sisters, Marian Ziccardi and June Fallat.

Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.

Family and friends will be held received Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
