CHESWICK--Helen R. Kulifay Sommer, 75, of Cheswick, PA formerly of Murrysville PA, died Saturday, July 22, 2006 in Harmar Village Care Center, Cheswick. Born March 13, 1931 in Poland, Ohio to the late Joseph and Mary Ziga Kulifay, she was a 1949 graduate of Poland High School, Poland, OH. Mrs. Sommer was owner of Delmont Real Estate retiring in 1976, was the former President of Westmoreland Board of Realtors, and was a member of St. Matthias Church in Poland, Ohio Survivors include a son, Alfred T. (Gloria) Russo Jr. of Oâa�a��Hara Township; two daughters, Kimberly (Michel) Ferris of Leechburg and Karol Mamajek of Meridian; a sister, Mary Klema of Newport Beach, CA; and four granddaughters; Jennifer Ferris, Nikki Ferris and her husband Sean Arnold, and Kelsey and Maia Russo; two sisters-in-law, Theresa Kulifay of Poland, OH and Helen Kulifay of Boardman, OH, and a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Bonnie and her grand-dog, Muffy. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wayne Sommer and two brothers, John and Joseph Kulifay. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Tuesday at Ross G. Walker Funeral Home, Ltd.., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, PA. Additional visitation will be held from 9 to 9:45 AM Wednesday at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 AM at St. Matthias Church, Youngstown.
