Helen Monica Rosa

Helen Monica Rosa, 84 Poland- Helen Monica Rosa, 84, of 1537 Lynn Ave., died of cancer Saturday evening at her residence. Mrs. Rosa was born May 4, 1920 in Adrien, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Frank and Mary Yatsko Zuby. She came to this area as a young girl. She was a 1937 graduate of Cheney High School and worked in the Drapery Department of the Joseph Horne Company in Boardman from 1975 until 1992. She was a member of New Life Assembly of God Church in Poland. Her husband John Rosa whom she married June 26, 1945, died November 30, 1973. She leaves one son, Don (Kathie) Rosa of Poland and three grandchildren, Erin Kolesar and Sean and Kevin Rosa. Besides her parents and husband, four sisters, Betty Hall, Florence Zabotsky, Geraldine Coler and Martha Wilburn and one brother William Zuby preceded her in death. Private services were held today at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contribution may go to the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley, c/o 962 Martin Luther King Jr., Blvd., Youngstown, Ohio 44501.
