Boardman - Helen T. Rominger, 89, of Boardman, died Friday morning, November 27, 2009 at the Hospice House.
Mrs. Rominger was born July 15, 1920 in Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph and Magdalene Kuchinskas Tamulonis. She was raised in Youngstown and lived in both Poland and Boardman throughout her life.
A graduate of South High School, Mrs. Rominger worked as a bookkeeper and legal secretary for various companies including General Fireproofing, Standard Slag, and Metal Carbides. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Poland and was an avid bridge player.
Her husband, Donald L. Rominger, died March 6, 1979. She leaves her son, James P. Rominger of Boise, Idaho.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Edward Victor and Donald Joseph Tamulonis.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland with Pastor Paul Burgeson officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Boardman.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
