Helen Neupauer

Helen Neupauer, 85 Poland- Helen Neupauer died on December 22, 2004 at her residence. She was born on May 17, 1919 in Borsky Mikulas, Czechoslovakia, a daughter of Stefan and Maria Cintula Macek. Mrs. Neupauer came to America on December 7, 1937 to New York on the ocean liner Aquitania. She resided in Johnstown, PA with her Aunt Helen Cintula and Uncle Frank. Her husband John, whom she married on May 14, 1949 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Johnstown, PA, died on November 15, 1990. Mrs. Neupauer was the housekeeper for Holy Family Catholic Church, Poland, OH, for over twenty years, where she was also a member. She is survived by four daughters: Jane (Jay) Luteran of Mentor, Jacqueline Neupauer of Canfield, OH, Mary Helen (Raymond) Melek of North Jackson, OH, and Denise (Dean) Giancola of Oldsmar, FL. In addition, she is survived by six grandchildren: Jill, Jeffery, Mary El, Rae Marie, Jenelle, and Nicholas. Funeral mass and prayer service was held today at Holy Family Church.
