Helen M. McHugh

Helen M. McHugh, 86 Poland âa�" Helen M. McHugh, 86, died Thursday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. She was born in Anderson, Indiana December 5, 1916, a daughter of Francis and Anna Grygo Tyska. She was raised in Steubenville and came to Poland in 1955. Mrs. McHugh was a surgical nurse at Southside Hospital and an antique dealer. She was a member of Holy Family Church. She leaves her husband, Wilfred, whom she married June 29, 1926; two sisters, Regina Zuk of Toronto, OH and Sophie Griffiths of Karn City, PA; one brother; Anthony Tyska of Toronto, OH; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Gerald McHugh who July 10, 2003 and Bill McHugh who died June 24, 1991; and two sisters Mary Maus and Lucile Michnowicz.. Funeral Services will be Monday 9:30 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Friends may call Sunday 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
