Helen R. Jochman

Helen R. Jochman, 84 Austintown - Helen R. Jochman, 84, of Humility House formerly of Island Drive in Poland died Wednesday evening at the nursing home. Mrs. Jochman was born January 18, 1919 in Youngstown, a daughter of Matthew and Anna Janik Martinko. She was a life long area resident. She was a charter member of the Poland Democrat Club and for over 30 years served as Democratic committee person. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Church. Her husband Frank Jochman, whom she married January 3, 1948 died August 24, 1998; She leaves one daughter, Rita Jochman at home; two sisters, Ann Jochman of Youngstown and Pauline Rohovsky of Austintown, and two grandsons, Patrick and Christian. A son, John Jochman, one sister Mary Martinko and five brothers, George, Steve, Paul, John and Joe Martinko preceded her in death. Funeral Services will be Monday 9: 30 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and10:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Friends may call Sunday from 5-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
