Boardman - Helen M. (Toman) Gran, 92, died suddenly over the weekend at her residence .
Mrs. Gran was born in Youngstown, April 19, 1923, a daughter of Anthony and Stefania Przepiura Toman.
Helen and her husband Stephen, were long time proprietors of the Cactus Bar at 2302 South Ave. She was a faithful member of St. Charles Borromeo Church. Helen enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends and solving jigsaw puzzles.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Mariellen Gran of Austintown; extended family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Gran; a daughter Karen; five sisters, Marie Kuharski, Verna Grimm,Wanda Bosley, Jean Crawford, and Estelle Walter.
Services will be held Friday at 11:00AM at Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St., Boardman. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received Thursday from 4-6 PM and Friday 10-10:45AM at the funeral home.
