Boardman - Helen Lucille Fallat, 94, of Boardman, passed away Monday, March 3, 2008 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center of Boardman. She was a resident of St. Mary's Alzheimerâa�a��s Center in Columbiana since May 1, 2007. Mrs. Fallat was born April 17, 1913 in Lowellville, Ohio, a daughter of Steve and Mary Koza Ondra. She was a life-long area resident. Mrs. Fallat was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Boardman where she belonged to its Happy Heart Group. Her husband, John P. Fallat, whom she married October 11, 1947, died May 11, 2002. She leaves her daughter, Beverly (Henry) Clark Landgraff of Boardman; a brother, Bill Ondra of Pinellas, FL; five grandchildren, Linda (Jack) Bergmann of Elma, NY, Terri (Daniel) King of Cedar Park, TX, Henry Landgraff, III of Struthers, John (Pam) Landgraff of Boardman, and Lawrence (Maureen) Landgraff of Washington, PA; eleven great-grandchildren, Ashley Bergmann, Jeffrey Bergmann, Taylor Bergmann, Brittany King, Henry Landgraff, IV, Amy Landgraff, Brian Landgraff, Allissa Landgraff, Zachary Landgraff, Katina Landgraff, and Evan Landgraff; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Fallat was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Powell and Jean Hohan; four brothers, Martin, Stephen, John, and Joseph Ondra; and her first husband, Ernest E. Clark. She loved her family very much and was always ready to help them out. She will be greatly missed by them. Funeral services will be held Friday at St. Luke Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with Father Joseph Fata officiating. Interment will follow in Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield. Friends will be received Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers where a prayer service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. The family requests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions made in Mrs. Fallat's name to the Alzheimer's Research Association.
