HELEN M. DeMAIN POLAND- Helen M. DeMain, 93, of 2918 Thunderbird Drive, died Tuesday morning at the Hospice House in Poland. Mrs. DeMain was born on January 27, 1914 in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Pauline Pesa. During World War II, Mrs. DeMain worked for the Poland School System in the cafeteria, the Ravenna Arsenal, and Republic Rubber as a laborer. Mrs. DeMain was a member of the Holy Family Church, the Ameritol Club, enjoyed bowling, and was a member of several card clubs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph DeMain, and her first husband, Carl Pachell. Mrs. DeMain is survived by one daughter, Carol Jean (Robert, Sr.) Magni of Poland; one sister, Sandrina âa�A"Sunnyâa�A� Tarasuck of San Diego, CA; two brothers, Richard (Helen) Pesa of Struthers and Joseph (Marie) Pesa of Toledo; one brother-in-law, Bart Barbato of New Bedford; six grandchildren, Robert (Patti) Magni, Jr., Judy (Gary) Allen, Gregory Magni, Sara (Don) Katcher, David Magni, and Joseph (Shelly) Magni; eight great-grandchildren, Robert III, Alayne, Amy, Katie, Karissa, Alex, Mallory, and Carson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one brother, Anthony âa�A"Tonyâa�A� Pesa, and one sister, Phyllis Barbato. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland, where prayer services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Church in Poland with Rev.
