Helen L. Carlucci

Stuthers- Helen L. Carlucci, 98, died July 19, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Carlucci was born September 16, 1916 in Lowellville, a daughter of Carmine and Marie Loretta DeChellis Pompeii.
Helen owned and operated Carlucci Pizza Shop in Struthers and was a cook at Tiny Tots Daycare.
She was a member of Christ Our Savior Church at St. Nicholas Church and St. Lucy's in Campbell. She also was a charter member of Sons of Italy. Helen enjoyed cooking, traveling, taking care of grandkids and great grandkids.
Her husband, James, whom she married Jan 16, 1938, died in 1977.
She is survived by one son, Joseph C. (Mary Lou) Carlucci of Barberton; one daughter, Dolores (Francis "Tony") Fontes of Campbell; a daughter -in-law, Priscilla Carlucci of Struthers; one step-brother, Joe (Anna) Pompeo of Poland; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, Helen was preceded in death by one son, James A. Carlucci; one daughter, Diane Rouzzo; three brothers, John, Charles, and Dan Pompeii; two sisters, her twin, Rose Rossi and Janice Calabrette; and one son-in-law, Tom Rouzzo.
A prayer service will be held Wednesday at 9:30AM at Davidson-Becker Funeral Homes, 11 Spring St., Struthers, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial
at 10:00AM at Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received today from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
