Hazel C. Drapp

Hillsville, PA - Mrs. Hazel C. Drapp, 88, formerly of Struthers, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, August 9, 2011 at her home.
Mrs. Drapp was born March 27, 1923 in Hillsville, a daughter of Edward and Levada Henderson Petrick.
A graduate of Bessemer High School, Mrs. Drapp worked for many years at Hutch Manufacturing, retiring in 1966 upon her marriage.
She was a member of Christ Our King Parish at St. Lawrence Church in Hillsville and the American Cancer Society. Hazel was a very kind, caring, and generous woman, who will always be kept close to her family's hearts and will never be forgotten.
Her husband of 18 years, Andrew A. Drapp, whom she married in October of 1966, died in January of 1984. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Mrs. Doris Rich of Hillsville; nephew, Lawrence (Mary) Rich, Jr. of Poland; 2 great-nieces, Melanie (Chris) Boling of St. Paris and Lauren (Mark) Sterle of Akron; two great-nephews, Michael (Aislyn) Rich of Hillsville and L. J. (Nikki) Rich, III of Poland; and two great-great-nieces, Lydia Rich and Maria Boling.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Petrick; and nephew, Michael Rich.
Private services for the family were held Friday at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers. Interment will take place at St. Nicholas Byzantine Cemetery in Campbell.
