Harry W. Jacobson, 75 Poland- Harry W. Jacobson, 75, of Poland, died Friday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Mr. Jacobson was born July 27, 1928 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, a son of Harry C. and Edna M. Morse Jacobson. He was raised in Struthers and moved to Poland in 1965. He graduated from Struthers High School in 1946 and received his Bachelor of Arts from Westminster College in 1956. He was a foreman for the Rod & Wire of the Youngstown Sheet & Tube for over 20 years. He later worked for Stambaugh Thompson in Boardman. During the Korean Conflict, from 1946 until 1951, Mr. Jacobson served in the United States Navy, aboard the U.S.S. Boxer. Mr. Jacobson was a member of the Brownlee Woods Presbyterian Church where he served as Deacon and Elder. He was a member and Past Master of Sulgrave Lodge #696 F&AM, Poland, the Aut Mori Grotto and the Poland Breakfast Club. He was a scroll saw enthusiast. Besides his wife the former Anita Hensley whom he married December 2, 1950, he leaves three daughters, Linda (David) Watts of Poland, Cheryl (Frank) Saulino of Nashville, Tennessee and Susan Jacobson of Poland and a son, Harry W. (Karen) Jacobson, Jr., of Nederland, Colorado; two sisters, Betty Symbolik of Marysville, Ohio and Dorothy Cooper of Poland; six grandchildren, Jason Hutton, Candace Watts, Ashley Hutton, Leanne Jacobson, Lindsay Watts and Talon Saulino. Funeral services will be Monday, 10:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call Sunday from 4-7 PM where a Masonic service will be held at 7:00 PM.
