LOWELLVILLE - Harriett R. Cunningham, 87, of Lowellville, died Tuesday, May 20th at the Hospice House. Mrs. Cunningham was born August 9, 1920 in New Castle, a daughter of Robert J. and Anna Ripple. She worked for the former Lowellville Bank as a bookkeeper for 16 years, retiring in 1980. Mrs. Cunningham also worked for the Mahoning County Board of Elections. She was a member of the Lowellville United Methodist Church and the Lowellville Senior Citizens. Her husband, Earl E. Cunningham, whom she married in 1943, died February 22, 1976. She is survived by one son, David (Cynthia) Cunningham of Austintown; one grandson, Brad (Shannon) Cunningham of Canfield; and two great-grandchildren, Sarah Ragan and Zachary Cunningham. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a step brother, Wade Cox; and a step-sister, Beth Hoffman. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Lowellville United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Theobald officiating. Friends will be received today from 5-8 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville and Friday from 11-11:15 a.m. at the church.
