Harold B. Leckburg

Harold B. Leckburg, 81 Youngstown- Harold B. Leckburg, 81, died Wednesday evening at North Vista Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born in Valier, Pennsylvania March 2, 1923, a son of Joseph and Hannah Gabrielson Leckburg. Mr. Leckburg worked at Republic Steel for 30 years and later worked as a Janitor at Poland Schools for 10 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in WWII. He was a member of the Brownlee Woods Presbyterian Church. He leaves his wife, the former Alberta Langenheim, whom he married, October 10, 1942. He leaves one son, Donald (Donna) Leckburg of N. Las Vegas, NV; one sister, Hannah Knox of Erie, PA; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Dasen; four brothers, Carl, Raymond, Clarence Albert, and Oscar Leckburg; and four sisters, Ethel (Higgins) Rickard, Bertha Reitz, Mabel Richards, and Mildred Patterson. Funeral services will be Tuesday 10:30AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Friends may call Monday from 5-8PM and Tuesday 9:30-10:15AM at the funeral home.
