Gregory A. Madison 67, of Salineville, Ohio died Tuesday morning August 1, 2017 at Caprice Health Care in North Lima. He was born May 12, 1950 in East Liverpool, Ohio to Gerald and Theda (Ludlam) Madison and had been a lifelong resident of the Salineville area.
He was a 1968 graduate of Southern Local High School and immediately served in the Army being stationed in North Korea. While in the service, Gregory had a dog named “King,” flown home to the United States to save his life.
Gregory had worked as a welder retiring from American Steel. He was a member of Salineville Church of Christ.
Besides his wife, the former Anna Griffith, he leaves his daughter, Julie Parrish and her husband Scott of Salineville. He also leaves two grandsons, Zachary and Timothy Parrish, both actively serving in the Marine Corp.
Besides his parent, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Scotty Parrish and his ½ sister, Patricia Gearin.
Memorial services will take place at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the Davis- Becker Funeral Home in Boardman.
