Grace Newell Ronci, 78, Struthers- Grace Newell Ronci, 78, of # Rocky Ledge, died Friday evening at her home after an extended illness. She was born November 5, 1923 in Dawson, PA, a daughter of the late Jesse and Margaret Sarah Culler Newell. She moved to the area as a young child and was a 1941 graduate of Struthers High School. She was a World War II veteran serving in the WAVES, as part of the Office of Strategic Services, Intelligence Division. Mrs. Ronci, a loving mother, was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Struthers. She was an avid bowler, who was one of the original members of Idlers bowling group on Wednesdays. She was a former PTA member, and loved dancing. Besides her husband William Ronci, Sr., whom she married November 28, 1946, She leaves behind two daughters: Peggy and son-in-law Ken Stoklosa of Poland; Jamie and son-in-law Michael Tamburino of Philadelphia; two sons: William M., Jr., daughter-in-law Kathryn Ronci, and Dan and daughter-in-law Cheryl Ronci all of Boardman; a sister Lenore Hoffman of New Middletown ; two brothers: Arthur Newell of Struthers; Eugene Newell of Ashtabula; and 10 grandchildren. An infant son Richard Michael and a brother Jesse Newell precede her in death. A prayer service will be held 9:30 AM, Tuesday at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers followed by Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Struthers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 PM Monday, and again on Tuesday from 9-9:30AM, prior to the prayer service.
