Grace J. Pompeii

Grace J. Pompeii, 90 Poland- Grace J. Pompeii, 90 of 6468 Diana Drive died Friday at her residence. Grace was born November 11, 1914 in Youngstown, a daughter of Rocco and Josephine Croutch Liguore. She was raised in Smokey Hollow and came to Poland in 1946. She was a member of Holy Family Church and was a homemaker. Her husband Eugene Daniel Pompeii whom she married August 17, 1938 died August 7, 1996. She leaves two daughters, Loretta (John) Parimuha of Westerville, Ohio and Becky Saletra of Pompano Beach, Florida; two sons, Gene (Pattie) Pompeii and Rick (Christine) Pompeii all of Struthers; and eleven grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers Joseph and Carl, a baby brother Louis and one grandchild. Grace was a devoted, loving wife, mother and grandmother, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be Monday, 9:30 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Friends may call Sunday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
