Grace E. Janosik

Grace E. Janosik, 85 Boardman- Grace E. Janosik, 85, of 7739 W. Parkside Drive formerly of Champion died early Saturday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Mrs. Janosik was born November 14, 1918 in Butler, Pennsylvania a daughter of Merle and Elizabeth Kropp McCall. She was raised in Kittanning and lived in Champion before retiring to Port Charlotte, Florida. In 1993 she returned to this area to live with her son and daughter-in-law. She was an assistant and receptionist for Dr. Weaver in Warren for 24 years retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Struthers. Her husband Thomas A. Janosik whom she married in 1937 died February 24, 1992. She leaves one son, Tom (Marge) Janosik of Youngstown; two sisters, Anna Margaret Lewis of Crestline, California and Delores Youngman of Fresno, California; four grandchildren, Lori Nidel, Tom Janosik II, Colleen Jones and Stefanie Janosik and six great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, an infant brother, Merle McCall preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Tuesday, 5:00 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers where friends may call from 3:30 until 4:45 PM at the funeral home. The family request if desired, memorial tributes to go to the Northeast Ohio Christian Youth Camp c/o Church of Christ of Struthers, 5775 Poland Struthers Rd., Poland, Ohio 44514.
