Gloria Joerndt, age 92, of Boardman, passed away at North Side Hospital on Sunday, December 28, 2014. She was born on August 15, 1922 in Girard the daughter of the late Charles and Edna Parks. She was a lifelong resident of the area and retired from Woodside Hospital in 1982.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Joerndt in 2008; a sister and brother-in-law, June and Edwin Masters.
She leaves her cousin and lifelong friend, Mary Layton of Niles; Mary's daughter Susan Greenfield and her family of Niles; sisters-in-law, Vivian Cook of Struthers, Naomi Garver of Dublin, OH and Louise Joerndt of Youngstown; and many nieces and nephews.
At Gloria's request there will be no services. Entombment will take place in the Green Haven Memorial Gardens mausoleum.
Arrangements are being handled by the Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman.
