Gloria Conway, 76, of Youngstown, formerly of Vienna, died October 24, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Gloria was born June 20, 1940 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Foster and Anna Mae Anderson Wilson.
Raised in Liberty, Gloria was a graduate of Liberty High School, Class of 1958. Gloria was a worker's compensation secretary for the Youngstown Diocese for 18 years and retired in 2008.
Gloria loved reading and exchanging books with family. She enjoyed trips to Mountaineer to play the slot machines and the daily scratch offs. She was also an avid and loyal fan of the Cleveland Indians.
Gloria's husband of 42 years, Richard Conway Jr., whom she married February 18, 1966, died February 1, 2009. She leaves three daughters, Missy Larsen of Campbell, Pam (Chuck) Williams of Liberty, and Chrissy (Michael) Slanina of Youngstown; one son, Richard (Angie) Conway III of Vienna; two brothers, William (Fran) Wilson of Ft. Myers, FL and Richard (Lori) Wilson of Brookfield; seven grandchildren, Sharon (Brian) Hackett, Joshua (Randi) Larsen, Ryan (Tiffany) Williams, Carlie Williams, Tyler Williams, Eugene Conway IV, and Ami Slanina; three great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Tabitha, and Otto; and her dogs, Erin and Shenanigans.
In addition to her parents and husband, Gloria was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Paul Larsen.
Friends will be received Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at St. Columba Cathedral followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Msgr. Peter Polando officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
