Gladys L. Hetrick, 95 Boardman- Gladys L. Hetrick, 95, of The Greenbriar formerly of Lettie Ave. in Campbell died early Saturday morning at the Greenbriar where she resided since the year 2000. Miss Hetrick was born November 2, 1908 in Lowellville, a daughter of Cowden and Julia Gable Hetrick. In 1911, she moved to Campbell where she resided all of her life. She received her teaching certificate from Oberlin College in 1930 and in 1964 received her Masters from Westminster College. She was a math teacher and guidance counselor for Campbell City Schools retiring in 1969 after 39 years. She was a member of the Struthers United Methodist Church and served on both the Pastor Parish Relations Administration Board and Wesley Foundation Board of United Methodist Church at Kent State University. She was a member of the National Retired Teachers Association, Ohio and Mahoning County Teachers Association and served on the Mahoning County Drug Board. She leaves a several cousins including Sandy Markel, who took care of her. Besides her parents, one brother, Harold Hetrick preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home. Friends may call Monday from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
