Geraldine L. âa�A"Gerryâa�A� Childers, 68 Poland- Geraldine L. Childers, 68, of 1927 Wendy Lane died Monday afternoon at her residence. Mrs. Childers also known as Gerry was born September 23, 1933 in Youngstown, a daughter of Stephen and Jane Bohenek Cantor. She came to Poland in 1969. She attended Youngstown State University and the University of Arizona. She was co-founder and President of Shane Security Service, Inc. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Youngstown. Besides her husband Conrad Childers whom she married February 14, 1953 she leaves two sons, John (Kathleen) Childers and James (Shirley) Childers both of Poland; one brother, Thomas Cantor of Annapolis, Maryland and two grandsons, Michael J. and John D. Childers. Two brothers, Edward and James Cantor preceded her in death. Funeral Services will be Thursday, 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lake Park Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The family request memorial contributions go to the Shriners Hospital, 1645 West 8th Street, Erie, Pa., 16505 or 202 Goodman Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45219.
