George Earl Whiteside, 75 Delray Beach- George Earl Whiteside, 75, of Delray Beach, Florida died early Friday morning at Delray Medical Center. Mr. Whiteside was born October 21, 1929 in Campbell, Ohio, a son of George W. and Rose A. Parish Whiteside. He was raised in the Youngstown area and moved to Boca Raton, Florida in 1982. A 1947 graduate of East High School, Mr. Whiteside co-owned and operated Energy Associates in Warren, a gas and oil leasing business. He retired from his position in 1982. He was a former member of the Christ Church United Presbyterian in Canfield. Mr. Whiteside was an avid golfer and fisherman and loved spending his time with his family. Besides his wife the former Dolores Ekhardt whom he married December 3, 1955, he leaves 5 daughters, Barbara (Philip) Derrow of New Albany, Ohio, Betty (Jacque) Joseph of Niles, Ohio, Belinda Isaacs of El Cajon, CA., Brigette (Shimon) Swissa of North Miami Beach, Florida, and Bonnie (Brian) Schwelling of Atlanta, Georgia; one son, George (Tracy) Whiteside of Lakeworth, Florida; four sisters, Doris Whiteside and Gwen Pantall both of Struthers, Evelyn Osborne of Boardman and Rosemarie Fisher of McDonald; and ten grandchildren, Carolyn and Tara Joseph, Anna Derrow, Michael, Melvin and Adrian Isaacs, Cobie, Shaina and Ariel Swissa and Carley Schwelling. Besides his parents, one brother, Kenneth Whiteside and a son-in-law, Robert Isaacs preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers where friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 PM.
