George Donald Saad, 83 George Donald Saad, 83, of Phoenix, Arizona formerly of Lowellville died Saturday at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Phoenix. Mr. Saad was born February 6, 1921 in Boston, Mass., a son of Toffie and Daisy Haskins Saad. He came to this area as a young boy. He was a self-employed carpenter after working for Lincoln and Albee Homes. He was a member of the Home Builders Association. His wife the former Helen Sadie Coppola whom he married October 11, 1945, died October 22, 1997. He leaves five daughters, Norma (Bill) Minteer of Wellington, Nevada, June (Dave) Wilson, Helene (Charles) Rotz and Sharon (Jack) Noble, all of Lowellville and Debra (James) Sheely with home he lived; nineteen grandchildren, one grandson, Donald Saad of whom he raised; thirty-seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife, one son, Donald Saad, four sisters, Sally, Jennie, Marian and Beatrice, and one brother, Edward Saad and one granddaughter preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Thursday, 10:00 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
