George Kent

George Kent, 71 Poland- George Kent, 71, of 20 Second Street, died early last week at his residence. Mr. Kent was born July 9, 1932 in Kansas, a son of Elvy George and Ruth M. McCord Kent. He came to Poland in the mid 1930âa�a��s and also had lived in Cleveland for many years. A dairy worker, Mr. Kent worked for Sealtest in Youngstown and then Hawthorn Melody in Cleveland. He then worked as a custodian for Cuyahoga County. Mr. Kent retired in 1992. He was a 1951 graduate of Poland Seminary High School and was a former member of the Knights of Pytheus. Mr. Kent is survived by his brother, William C. Lindesmith of Lyman, South Carolina. Funeral services will be Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland where friends may call from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
