Boardman - George Bogadi, 80 of Boardman, died, Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at his residence, with his family by his side.
Mr. Bogadi was born April 20, 1930 in Youngstown, a son of Frank and Helen Dvavnekavici Bogadi.
Mr. Bogadi worked as a Laborer for LTV Steel for 28 1/2 years, retiring April 10. 1984. He was Catholic by faith. Mr. Bogadi was an an avid outdoors man, he loved camping, target shooting, medal detecting, boxing and enjoyed attending gun shows. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family..
He is survived by a daughter Teressa (Michael) Trebella of Boardman, a son Mark (Jennifer Koval) Bogadi of Canfield a brother, Frank (Sue) Bogadi of South Haven, MI; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a infant son, Russell Bogadi, a brother, Joseph Bogadi, and two sisters, Helen Kalufut and Anne Gregg.
There will be no calling hours.
The family would like the thank the wonderful and caring staff and neighibors of Simco Apartments and the staff of Hospice of the Valley, for all of their care given to George.
Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
