Gayle Ellen Beffert

GAYLE ELLEN BEFFERT âa�" 59 YOUNGSTOWN âa�" Gayle Ellen Beffert, age 59, of 1217 Florencedale Ave., died Tuesday morning at her residence. Mrs. Beffert was born on April 7, 1947 in Youngstown, a daughter of Gladys Chevron Eperjesi. She graduated in 1966 from West Middlesex High School, and attended Youngstown State University. She was a life long area resident. Mrs. Beffert had worked as a Social Worker for the Windsor Nursing Home, Inc in Youngstown, retiring in 1992 after 24 years. She was a Catholic by faith. She was a supporter of the Mahoning County MRDD, where she had taken care of the mentally challenged in her own home. She enjoyed visiting Atlantic City, and especially enjoyed playing Slot Machines. She is survived by her husband Ronald âa�A"Terryâa�A� Beffert, whom she married July 15, 1966, three sisters, Ann (Paul)Cappazuto of Boardman, Christine Eperjesi of Sharon, Mary Eperjesi of Tampa Fla., one brother, Andrew (Linda) Eperjesi, of Youngstown, and a friend Ed Edgerton. She is preceded in death by her mother. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service, Friday evening at 7:00 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
