Struthers - Garnet V. (Myers) Febinger, 94, died September 16, 2015 at Masternick Memorial with her loving family by her side .
Mrs. Febinger was born November 1, 1920 in Kellersburg, PA, a daughter of Charles and Myrtle Guthrie Myers.
She was a homemaker and worked 15 years at Palazzo's Restaurant and 12 years at Hardee's. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Church of God. Garnet enjoyed crocheting, baking, and taking care of her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Donald) Norris of Struthers and Millie (James) Phillips of Struthers; one son, Gary(Chris) Febinger of Columbiana; one son-in-law, Bob Eisenbraun of Struthers; one sister, Doretha Zabradnik of Kittanning; 12 grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Pam, Gary Paul, Matthew, Tracy, Terry, Jimmy, John, Bobby, Pete, and Michele; 23 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Pete, whom she married April 18, 1942, died May 4, 1974.
Besides her parents, Garnet was preceded in death by one son, Peter Febinger; one son-in-law, John Salvatore; two brothers, Charles and Archie Myers; and six sisters, Eva, Chloe Baker, Olive Hull, Ila Gray, Mildred Slagle, and Anna Belle Crissman.
Services will be held Monday at 11:00AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St., Struthers. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received Sunday 5-7 PM and Monday 10-10:45AM at the funeral home.
