Frederick M. Round, 88
CANFIELD - Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman, for Frederick M. Round, 88, formerly of Boardman. He passed away Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mr. Round was born March 28, 1923, in Boardman, a son of Leonard P. and Marie Morris Round. The Round family settled in Boardman from England in 1911.
He had worked for General Motors-Lordstown in the van plant. He was a member of AOPA and a former member of the Boardman United Methodist Church.
A veteran of World War II, he served as a pilot with the U.S. Army. He continued his love of flying throughout his life.
His wife, the former C. Jean Christy, whom he married June 23, 1956, died Aug. 14, 1995.
Surviving him are two sons, Jeffery Rinehart and Atty. James P. (Darice) Rinehart, both of Phoenix; three daughters, Cynthia Sebulsky of Canfield, Cheryl (George) Petro of Phoenix and Sandra (Rich) McBride of Rockford, Ill.; two brothers, his twin, Leonard Round of Huron and Jack (June) Round of New York; also nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death besides his wife and parents; is a brother, Harold Round.
Friends may call Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 10 to 10:50 a.m. Monday, both at the funeral home.
