Frederick A. âa�A"Porkyâa�A� Brill Poland- Frederick A. Brill of Linger Place, formerly of Struthers, died suddenly at his daughterâa�a��s residence Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Brill, affectionately known as Porky, was born September 8, 1925, in Struthers, a son of Edward and Mary Elizabeth Roberts Brill. He lived in Struthers most of his life until moving to the Brownlee Woods area. Porky served in the United States Navy from 1943 until 1946 having served in Okinawa. After the war he returned to Struthers to finish his education and graduated from Struthers High School in 1947. Porky was employed by McIntee Motors in Struthers, City Ash and Heckett Engineering before retiring from BFI. After retirement he drove cars for Jimâa�a��s Auto in New Middletown. Porky was a member of the Infant Jesus of Prague Church, the Struthers VFW Post #3538 and the Struthers Athletic Club. He enjoyed golfing at Tanglewood Golf Course and spending time with his three grandsons. Besides his wife the former Helen Bobko, whom he married August 26, 1950; he leaves one son, Michael F. Brill of Sparks, Nevada; two daughters, Sharon (Gene) Mulichak of Poland and Renee (Ron) Weimer of New Middletown; one brother, Edward (Agnes) Brill of Spring Hill, Florida; three grandsons, Matt Mulilchak, and Doug and Danny Duncan; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Porky was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Brill. Funeral services will be Saturday, 9:15 AM at the Cunningham-Becker funeral home, Poland and 10:00 AM at Infant Jesus of Prague in Boardman. Friends may call Friday from 5-8 PM where a Parastas will be held at 7:30 PM. The family request memorial tributes go to the American Heart Association. Condolence may be sent at
