Frank Trimble

Struthers - Frank Trimble, 86, of Struthers, died suddenly, Monday, January 20, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown.

Frank was born April 24, 1927 in Lowellville, a son of the late Patsy and Kathryn Cusana Trimble.

A Veteran of the United States Navy, Frank served during World War II.

He was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Church, where he was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.

Frank was employed by Mahoning County Sanitary District as an Operator and Lab Technician at the Boardman Waste Water Treatment Plant. A natural, patient teacher, he often helped co-workers prepare for Operator Certification examinations. Frank retired in 1992.

Frank enjoyed the comforts of home. He was passionate and meticulous about gardening and fishing, especially when these activities involved friends and neighbors. Most of all, Frank cared deeply for his immediate and extended family, supporting their trials and celebrating their achievements. He led by example through respect and generosity for all he encountered. Frank was a master of conversation.

He is survived by his wife, the former Marian Rossi, whom he married October 7, 1950; daughters, Katherine Trimble of Struthers and Linda Eperjesi of Poland; a son, Frank Trimble of Wilmington, NC; and a granddaughter, Melissa Eperjesi of Poland.

Besides his parents, Frank was preceded in death by sisters, Carmella Antonucci, Mary Romeo, Angeline Graziano, and Theresa Casillo; brothers, Joseph Trimble, Anthony Trimble, and James Trimble; and son-in-law, Michael Eperjesi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, 10:00 AM at Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers, with Fr. Bernard Gaeta officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Lowellville.

Family and friends will be received Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland, where a Prayer Service will be held Friday at 9:15 AM.
