Frank J. Fani Jr., 50, passed away at his home with his family by his side on June 6, 2016, after a courageous 3 ½ year battle with cancer. Frank was born September 4, 1965 in Sharon Pa., a son of Frank J. Fani Sr, and Helen (Goncz) Fani. He was a 1983 graduate of Brookfield High School. Frank worked for Advance Auto Glass as an auto glass installer for over 18 Years. He was a very hard and dedicated worker, and loved his co-workers like family. Frankie was very passionate about many things including his family, music, and sports. He loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates games with his father and the rest of his family every Sunday. He played lead guitar for local bands The Jury, and The Barflies. He was very dedicated to his music, and spent most of his free time playing and practicing.

Frank is survived by his parents, Frank Sr. and Helen of Masury; his wife, Michelle (Slepski) Fani, whom he married October 15, 2005; sisters, Amy (Kevin) Taylor and Lori (Jeff) Kneubehl both of Masury; son, Devin Fani of Warren; daughter, Courtney Fani of New Castle Pa; daughter, Jordan Fani of Warren; stepdaughter, Brittnie Slepski of New Middletown; grandson, Landon Fontana; and step-granddaughters, Addison and Kaedence Borton. He loved his grandchildren with all of his heart. He also leaves behind his father-in-law, Louis Slepski of Boardman and a host of brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. All who will cherish his memory.

Frank is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nello & Rose Fani, his maternal grandparents Joe and Helen Goncz, and mother-in-law, Annabell Slepski.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday June 11, 2016 at Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St. Boardman, Ohio. Calling hours will be from 10:00am-1:00pm with a service starting at 1:00pm, in the chapel of the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to cover expenses.

The family would also like to thank the Blood and Cancer Center, and Hospice of Valley for all that they have done.
