Frank J. Danicic, 92 Youngstown- Frank J. Danicic, 92, of 1566 Medford Avenue, died Sunday evening at his residence. He was born July 16, 1909, in Warrensville Heights, Ohio to John and Mary Kodek Danicic, and has been an area resident for more than 50 years. Employed by the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad as a Track Foreman, he retired in 1974 after 49 years of service. A member of St. Luke Catholic Church, he belonged to the Holy Name Society. He also served as a Civil Defense Warden during World War II. Besides his wife the former Kathryn Krett, whom he married June 12, 1937, he leaves two daughters: Carol Danicic and Marlene (Richard) Protiva both of Poland; two sons: Frank of Aurora, CO; and Richard (Elizabeth) of Bethel Park, PA; one sister: Rose Repasky of Mantua; a brother: John of Strongsville; and five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two daughters: Kathryn and Elaine; two sisters: Amelia Danicic; Mary Pobuda; and two brothers: Charles and Louis. A Funeral Mass will be held 11AM, Wednesday at St. Luke Catholic Church. Friends may call 9:00-10:15 AM, Wednesday at the Cunningham-Becker where a prayer service will be held at 10:15AM.
