FRANK A. BUSH -- 86 Columbiana âa�" Frank A. Bush, age 86, passed away Thursday evening, May 17, at the Salem Community Hospital. He was born April 20, 1921 in Salem, a son of the late Paul and Valeria Stephanic Bush. He was graduate of Salem High School, and the University of Louisville. He served in the US Army Air Force in WWII as a B-29 Electronic Technician and later served in the U.S. Navy, as a civilian component attached to their Lighter then Air Operation. He worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber as an Aeronautical Engineer and was their Administration Manager for the Good Year Aerospace in Akron. He was a member of Christâa�a��s Church in Boardman. Mr. Bush was the Past Master of the J E. McFadden Lodge, Past High Priest Alliance Chapter Royal Arch Masons, Past Illustrious Master of Alliance Council of the Royal and Select Masons, Past Commander of the Alliance Commandery Knights Templar, and after moving to Columbiana transferred his memberships to the Western Star Lodge, No. 21, F&AM in Boardman, the York Rite bodies of Youngstown. He was a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton and attended the Valley of Youngstown. He was past preceptor of the Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priests, past sovereign master of the Constantine, past excellent chief of Knight Masons in Ireland, past chief artificer of Trowl-lers Cryptic Rite, past deputy division commander of the 8th division of Ohio Knights Templar, past district deputy grand high priest of the 18th capitular district, Grand Chapter of Ohio and has been inducted into Ohio Priory No. 18, Knights of the York Cross of Honor. Mr. Bush was a member of the Tadmor Shrine in Akron, Order of the Eastern Star, Order of Amaranth, Philaletes Society, Royal Order of Scotland, Red Branch of Erie, York Rite College, Order of Cork, Order of Bath, Ohio and Missouri Lodge of Research, the George Washington Masonic Philatalic Society of Alexandria VA., and the Wingfoot Lighter than Air Society of Akron. He also was a driver for crippled children to the Erie Shrine Hospital and was earlier involved in Boy Scouts, the YMCA camps for Youth, Little league Baseball, Childrens diabetic Camps and had been an Account Manager for United Fund in Akron. Mr. Bush was a 50 year member of his Lodge and the Scottish Rite. He leaves his son Bruce A. Bush, a close friend, Howard C. Bodine, Jr. and a sister Helen of Colorado. His wife the former Betty Jane Bruder, of 63 years, and several brothers and sisters are deceased. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 10th, 3:00 PM at Christâa�a��s Church, 7155 Glenwood Ave., Boardman. Memorials may be sent to Alliance Hospice, 885 S. Sawburg Rd.
