Hillsville- Francis D. Gregg, 82, of Hillsville died Friday evening at Jamison Memorial Hospital. Francis was born September 11, 1923 in Lawrence County Pennsylvania, a son of Louis & Christine Macri Gregg and was a life-long resident of Hillsville. He was a Paving Contractor and Developer and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 66. St. Lucy Club of Hillsville, and Christ the King St. Lawrence Church of Hillsville PA. Francis is survived by his wife, the former Theresa Scopacasa,; one daughter Mary (Larry) Rich of Poland; one son Robert (Debbie) Gregg of Bessemer, PA; five grandchildren, Leslie Gonsalves of Bessemer, Greg (Tara) Gagliano and David Gagliano both of Hillsville, Keith (Laurie) Gregg of Bessemer, and Andrea Gregg of Lake Havasue Arizona and three great-grandchildren Alliyah Gonsalves, Alex Gregg, and Ashley Gross; two brothers, Louis Gregg and Richard (Carol) Gregg, both of Youngstown, and two sisters, Christine (Donald) Diana of Bessemer and Marilou Gadzia, of New Castle. One brother George Gregg, and an infant sister, Anne Marie Gregg preceded him in death. Services will be private. Arrangements were handled by the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowelleville, Ohio.
