Frances "Sally" Umstead

Poland - Frances "Sally" Umstead, 60, died December 9, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family. Mrs.Umstead was born April 13, 1952 in Youngstown, a daughter of George Richard and Katherine Venosky Richard.
She was a 1970 Wilson High School graduate and was the Assistant Manager of Walgreen's in Poland. Frances enjoyed trips to Mountaineer, bingo, watching football on the weekends, and spending time with family and friends, and her cat Cleo.
She is survived by two sons, Brian Umstead of Poland and Michael (Colleen) Umstead of Ravenna; three sisters, Patricia Mountford of Poland, Delores (Jack) Willison of Columbiana, and Kathleen (Andrew) Chicase of Poland; two brothers, Joseph (Joann) Venosky of Liberty and Albert Venosky of Olmstead Falls, OH ; one grandson, Joshua Umstead of Ravenna; and three sister- in- laws, Judy Venosky of Canfield and Linda Richard of Austintown, and Jackie Venosky of Wabash, IN.
Besides her parents, Frances was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard Venosky, George Richard, and Stanley Venosky.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers, followed by a brief closing prayer.
