Frances Shaffer

Frances Shaffer, 90 STRUTHERS- Frances Shaffer, of Greenbrier Nursing Home, formerly of Struthers died early Wednesday morning at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Mrs. Shaffer was born in Apollo, Pennsylvania November 10, 1912, a daughter of Henery and Elsie Held Rosensteel. She was a life long area resident. She was a homemaker and also worked for Columbus Cleaners for 10 years. She was a member of the Struthers United Methodist Church. Her husband Chester L. Shaffer, whom she married November 11, 1935, died in 1990. She leaves one daughter, Florence Eagleton of Struthers; one sister, Melda Beers of Cooperstown, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Milfred Rosensteel; and one sister, Emma Bean. Funeral Services will be Friday 7 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
